100% Syrah, from organically grown grapes with western exposure facing the Atlantic ocean in Loubageira, Portgal. Elevation is 300m above sea level and soil is limestone mostly with some clay. Vines are 12 years old. Grapes are hand harvested, destemmed, and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel. The wine continues to age for around 9 months before bottling. Unfined, unfiltered, and a small amount of SO2 added before fermentation (20ppm). Annual production is around 3,400 bottles.
